The AP French preparation class is generally a one-year commitment and must be prepared seriously. The AP French course is comparable to fourth semester college courses in French and exposes the student to diverse daily basis situations/cultural aspects of the francophone world.

This course includes a lot of readings and analysis of French and francophone newspaper articles, French civilization studies, literature abstracts, and current events or news, augmenting vocabulary and encouraging students to use French in more sophisticated and realistic ways.

A regular practice of the former AP French exams and some mock exams are assigned during the year in order to make the students more comfortable with the AP format and fully prepare them for the exam in May.
